It was a very peaceful day at Baily House Care Home yesterday. That is because our Group Ambitions Coordinator, Rachel Jacks, completed a sponsored silence! Her aim was to raise money to take 2 of our Residents to see Tom Jones live in concert.
As anyone who knows Rachel will know, she is always loud, energetic and full of life, so being quiet for the whole day wasn’t without it’s challenges. She told us that if it was for herself, she would have failed very quickly, but because it was for the Residents, it helped her to carry on.
Rachel’s target was to raise £200, and by the end of yesterday, she had raised well over £250!! Congratulations to Rachel on her success, and a big thank you to everybody who donated!
