Juliet Hemingray is a world renowned artist who specialises in tapestries and embroidered art.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Rev and Honourable Dr George Carey recognised her gift at a clerical conference and invited her to make his Enthronement robes which were seen by millions around the world.
She has just completed a bespoke design at Baily House . The design of the cross within an oval reflects the tree of life and the natural order of the world. It is a companion piece to the tapestry that she made to hang in the chapel at our sister home Woodleigh Christian Care Home some years ago.
It has kindly been donated by the Rev Bob Jones in memory of this wife Joan who was a resident at Baily House and is located at the entrance to the home and we hope will be thoughtful and reflective piece. The pictures shows Juliet and Eva admiring the art work
