 Special Events

Bonfire Night - Firework Display

Saturday 4th November 2017

16.30

Every year we host our very own bonfire night fireworks display, and this year is no different! The fireworks display will be in the garden with plenty to see at all angles, meaning that everyone can enjoy it without straining their neck!

There will be indoor and outdoor viewing areas, with a pie and pea supper to warm you up in the chilly November air.

The display will also be followed by a 'Friends of Woodleigh' meeting where everyone is encouraged to join us and discuss everything from activities to the menu on offer.

Memorial Service

Sunday 13th November 2017

14.30

Our chaplain  Helen Curzon will be leading our second 'Memorial Service'. Residents, friends and families will be invited to join us all at Woodleigh to remember people who are sadly no longer with us and light a candle in their memory.

Everyone is welcome; the service will last approximately 30 minutes & be followed by afternoon tea. Please join with us in celebrating the lives of those dearly loved ones.

Christmas Fayre

Saturday 18th November 2017

14.30 - 16.30

We will be hosting our annual Christmas fayre at Woodleigh where we will have raffles, tombolas, games and entertainment for the whole family.

Donations for the stalls and raffle will be greatly appreciated, and if you would like to volunteer to run a stall or game with us, please speak to Marion.

Carols Round the Christmas Tree

Sunday 24th December 2017

15.00

Christmas is a time to be together and every year one of the ways we celebrate Christmas at Woodleigh is to gather everybody around one of our beautiful Christmas trees and sing Christmas carols, lead by our very own Woodleigh Warblers choir.

Everyone is welcome to join us and welcome Christmas in with some songs, some Christmas spirit and maybe even a sherry or two.
