The Residents Choir has started practicing for the Christmas Eve Carol Service
Reregistered by CQC for providing 44 nursing care beds. This also involved changing the registered owners to Woodleigh Christian Care Home Ltd. There have been no other changes and John and Gail Walton remain the proprietors.
Awarded Quality Band 5 (Top rating possible) from Nottinghamshire County Council
Strawberry fayre raised over £750 for the “Friends of Woodleigh” Charity
Residents holiday to Skegness was a huge success.
Third Place in the National Association of Activity Providers - “Food Glorious Food” activity competition that took place all through June.. Finalist were picked for their particular innovation and creativity as well as their commitment to trying new things with all residents

In November in the Midlands Family Business Awards, Sam Reynolds won the “Personal Excellence” category. Woodleigh was runner up in the “Best Development of Talent” category. Kirsty-May Coupe was a finalist in the “Personal Excellence “ category.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) awarded us their highest quality award, 3 stars – Excellent this is the highest level they award. This is the third year in a row this top award has been given to Woodleigh. We are one of only 9 nursing homes in Nottinghamshire to receive this accolade.

Nottinghamshire Social Services top quality band 5 for the second year running: we were delighted to score 100% in every single area they looked at.
Reaccredited by British Standards Institute for the international ISO9001 quality standard. Finally we were delighted to be a national finalist for two years running in the National Association of Activity Providers "Fresh Air" competition.

"Investors in People" accreditation for the involvement and investment in our staff.
As part of our quality processes the British Standards Institute audit our people and processes annually to ensure we meet the international ISO9001 quality standard.
Finally we were delighted to be a national finalist in the first ever National Association of Activity Providers "Fresh Air" competition.
