In February we started a little task called “Wishing Stars” which involved asking each resident the question “If you could do one thing or go one to one place, what would you do or where would you go?”. Pam told us she’d love to go to Hong Kong as she LOVES the food and the country. Unfortunately we couldn’t take Pam to Hong Kong so we went for the next best thing – we all went for an all-you-can eat Chinese Buffet! We also knew that Greta enjoys Chinese food and invited her along too, they both really enjoyed themselves.

In January Jade and Sarah arranged a Golden Gala Party over at the Towers pub. With help from the kitchen they prepared a buffet, decorated the room, invited families and managed to get a wonderful 34 residents to join us for the party! Everyone had a great time and it is something we would like to continue with.
January saw Pete MaCray bring the New year in , with a good old fashioned knees up . The residents love to have a sing and a dance and it keeps us all fit and healthy.
In December Jade and Sarah made bauble decorations for each family member/friend with the finger print of their loved one. These baubles were located on our Christmas trees for resident’s families and friends to take. The Christmas trees were decorated by each resident on their floor. We also had the Christmas Fayre and raised a lot of money towards our resident’s fund! We also had a Alice in Wonderland Pantomime
