A Lovely Home
As a purpose built new home Baily House is able to offer you the very best facilities. Although the home is large, the fact that it is arranged over three floors will make you feel as if you are living in a smaller more homely environment.
Our sixty-six spacious bedrooms all have modern ensuite wetroom facilities for your convenience and comfort, and are provided with a TV, DVD, fridge, telephone point and the ability to connect to Sky and WiFi. They are individually decorated with the highest quality furniture and soft furnishings, and we encourage you to personalise your room by adding your own treasured possessions: pictures and photos or perhaps even a favourite chair – we want you to feel that Baily House is truly your home.
Each floor of the home is beautifully designed and has its own lounge, dining room and quiet rooms for you to enjoy, so there is plenty of choice when you want to sit and chat or read. We also have a number of smaller seating areas that offer you places for quieter moments. If you would like a cup of tea or coffee with friends or family then our coffee shop will provide you with a comfy and welcoming place to meet. However you like to spend your day, there will always be somewhere to suit you.
"I moved from hospital to Baily House as I could no longer care for myself. I felt straight away that it was a home from home"
Delivering the Right Care for You
We will spend time with you, and your family, agreeing on exactly what care suits you best, addressing not just your physical requirements, but also your emotional and spiritual wellbeing. We will develop a care plan that is just for you and that can be adapted as your wishes or circumstances change.
We also provide high quality care for people who may be living with dementia. Our team of dedicated staff have undergone specialist training to enable them to provide the most understanding and appropriate help. We firmly believe that living with dementia is not a reason to stop leading an enjoyable, interesting and varied life, and we do our upmost to make sure this is the case at Baily House.
We are all here to help you no matter what your needs and we hope that, should you decide to make your home with us, you will thoroughly enjoy being a member of the loving and welcoming Mansfield community of which we are very proud.
"I have recently moved my relative into Baily House after he developed Alzheimer’s and could not continue to live in his own home. Since moving to Baily House he has settled really well, he is happy and very well cared for. All the staff are great with him. The general atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and happy and I am delighted that I made this choice for him"
Enjoying good food and getting fresh air are two essential parts of keeping you healthy. Mealtimes are an important part of everyone’s day and we strive to make sure you can enjoy a healthy and balanced diet. All our food is freshly prepared using good quality ingredients, from local suppliers who have been highly recommended and there is plenty of choice on the menus. If there is something you particularly fancy, perhaps an old favourite, then please ask our cooks and they will be delighted to help you. We can also cater for special dietary needs, should you be diabetic, gluten intolerant or have specific food allergies.
Our well-maintained secure gardens provide ample seating, areas for you to actively garden in, and somewhere you can appreciate some of the pet birds the home has. So you can enjoy the outdoors in warmer months, we often hold events such as tea parties and BBQs in the summer – you are welcome to invite friends and family to share these occasions with you.
Keeping You Healthy
"Having had experience of other care homes over the years I can honestly say that Baily is superb. The staff are friendly, caring and ever helpful. My husband is content and although having Alzheimer's, appreciates the care and particularly the home cooked meals."
Leading a Fulfilling Life
Life at Baily House is never dull, and we aim to help you lead as rich and fulfilling a life as possible. Being in need of care and support does not mean that you are unable to fully participate in the many and varied activities that take place in the home. There are regular outings, as well as many indoor events such as visiting entertainers, fashion shows, exercise sessions and reminiscing, and we welcome your suggestions for new events and trips that you would like to be part of. Whatever your personality and interests we want you to feel that there is always something going on for you to enjoy.
